Mission accomplished but not complete

Got this mail from Abhay saying that he would be mailing the check to the family of Sri.RahulShinde in Sholapur. With this we have distributed the donations we had collected to all the families we had on our list.

Once again, thanks to one and all for their precious contributions. Wish that you all be blessed with prosperity and always be capable of such noble deeds in the future.

Hello

I was in Hyderabad, then in Bangalore, again in Hyderabad and then on a trip to the Andamans and arrived home yesterday. In the meanwhile, I have got a reply from the office of the Joint Com m of Police and have got the contact details of the father of Shri Rahul Shinde. I talked to the concerned police officer in Solapur today and will be sending him the amount with the covering note and a cheque in the name of the father of Late Shri Rahul. With this the distribution process would be completed. For the record, the final collection fell short by Rs 5000 due to unforseen circumstances, but as most of you have seen, we also had some extra collections.

About the plan to have a ongoing fund for the children of 3 of the constables, NOTHING final is worked out yet and though I have a good response to the same from some of you, at this moment, its on ice and I will inform you when something workable developes. If there are a couple of thousand Rs left fromt he amount already collected, I shall donate it to an appropriate charity at my discretion. (may not be the case because of the 5k shortage).

Once again, thanks all for your support. I have one more request. As I have told you, the guardians of our law live in pitiable conditions. It iws only a miracle that some of them manage to rermain honest under such conditions. Unless their lot improves, we cant expect them to be able to perform better. Do you have any suggestions on what we , as citizens can do to highlight their plight?
